Inquiry-Based Slack Channels
During week two of the Institute we will launch various inquiry-channels in the Teaching and Learning Center’s Slack team. Each discussion channel will provide a space for participants to share and discuss elements of their course with the close support and guidance of TLC staff and other teaching fellows. TLC staff will share prompts, readings, and other resources to guide and deepen the conversations and assist participants as they’re thinking through course design. Participants are encouraged to share their own materials for feedback, ask questions, and start discussions on topics of their interests.
New Slack channels will launch on each day of the week (Monday through Thursday) and TLC staff will be online and available throughout the day. Please see below for a preliminary launch schedule.
Once open, the TLC Slack channels will remain active spaces and will serve to connect students to one another and to the staff of the Teaching and Learning Center. For more info on how to use Slack, please see our Guide to Using Slack (forthcoming).
